Welcome to New Orleans, LA. We can't say enough about the lineup of activities that we have planned for guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. We would like to personally welcome all guests by inviting everyone to hang out with us in the Gallery room downstairs by the main lobby. Guests can check-in, pick up access weekend passes, and pre-ordered t-shirts and other IIM Merch.
You can't come to New Orleans and not take in the NOLA culture in the heart of the French Quarter. The Sheraton host hotel is a literary walking distance from everything you need including the historical Bourbon Street, Canal Street, Caesars Harrah's Casino, and the Riverfront. There are also endless restaurants to enjoy as well. Kick-off the Black Tie Weekend in your Ascots and Pearls at the exclusive Pre-Party on Friday night. This Vegas-Casino Style evening will include our signature fundraiser for guests to play popular casino table games for a chance to win some incredible prizes. Please see our team of ambassadors to purchase additional casino chips to PLAY to WIN. Throughout the evening, our musical hosts will provide sounds that will keep guests moving and grooving on the dance floor. Let's Get It!

Come hang out with us from 11:00 am-12 noon to participate in our Black Music Bingo Game Play. Question: How well do you know classic Black Music, Black Movies, and Black TV Shows? Various gift cards will be awarded to winners throughout gameplay. Last year, Black Music Bingo was a hit, don't miss it this year.

Stay around for the Collegiate Mid-Day Party for some dancing and Chicago-Style Steppin. Don't forget to bring your college attire to represent your favorite college team or greek organization. Let's Go To Work!

RED CARPET COCKTAIL HOUR, 7pm - 8pm
The Black Tie Main Event, 8pm - 1:30am
Location: Grand Ballroom
Lights, Camara, Action...Get ready to walk the red carpet in style. The formal Black Tie Cocktail Hour will begin at 7 pm, where guests will enjoy red carpet photos, interviews, live jazz, light refreshments, and a cash bar.
At 8 pm, the Black Tie Main Event will provide an elegant evening of dancing, dining, and the recognition of our 2022 scholarship recipients. Guests will enjoy a gourmet full-course meal along with an assortment of chef's choice desserts. Enjoy An Evening of Elegance!

The weekend finale takes place on Sunday at noon. Dancing and enjoying good fellowship with everyone before traveling back home.

As part of the Black Tie Experience, we are pleased to offer our guests a five-course gourmet dinner on Saturday evening during the Black Tie Main Event. In addition, guests also can enjoy seasonal fresh fruit with domestic cheeses and crackers during the Red Carpet Cocktail Hour. A cash bar will be available throughout the entire evening. Be sure to order the Black Tie Martini "Specialty" Drink throughout the weekend.
